Weeklong program intended as part of relief measures in the wake of COVID-19 crisis

The Muslim Leadership Council of San Diego (www.mlcsd.org) , an umbrella organization representing over 25 Muslim organizations based in San Diego has initiated a free meal program for San Diegans impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The program will be over a week, from March 24 through March 31, 2020, and will include free delivery for healthcare workers.
The initial program is being sponsored by MLC in collaboration with two local restaturants, “Tikka Lounge” and “Charminar.”
“The free meal program is intended to provide a small relief measure to San Diegans that are impacted by the lockdown, as well as to healthcare workers who are in the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus,” said Ghouse Mohammed, Chairmain of the Muslim Leadership Council’s board.
